BRONZED

Daniel Libeskinds 54 Acre Bronzed Metal House (9)

Famed architect and designer Daniel Libeskind is known for his organic and thoughtful designs, and his 18.36.54 house in Connecticut is one of the gorgeous results of his hard working efforts. With the exterior clad in bronze metal and glazing, the interior translates just as well.
Studio Daniel Libeskind gave the name of 18.36.54 to this 2,000SF home, based on the 18 planes, 36 points, and 54 lines of the spiraling ribbon which defines its living spaces. Everything on the interior is built in and custom– still adhering to the planes, points and lines of the outside. This causes the whole structure to work as one, with each plane and line folding into one another ever so seamlessly.
